So this is my "tuned" NST.
I increased the output-power to around three times
more than the power of normal running mode.
It became reality by using series capacitors.
What are doing the capacitors?
They minimize the output impedance to nearly the impedance value of the secondary copper windings.
open circuit voltage: 4.5kV
short circuit without a capacitor: 124ma
short circuit with a cpacitor: around 320ma@100nf capacity!

    I wish I could figure out how to make one of these...

    I tried using 15, 330V 120uF capacitors in series and charging them with a Disposeable camera circuit, but it says they're charged instantly. but they just don't have the 4k volts i was looking for...
