A montage of a few of the songs played by Wookiefoot at Project Earth, 2010 at Harmony Park in Clark's Grove, MN on Sat, June 26th.
Sorry all of these clips are so short!! I was trying to keep the camera dry, capture the magic, and jam all at the same time!!!
I know a lot of people missed the show due to the inclement weather, so I decided to put this together for everyone to enjoy! :)
Straight from the Wookiefoot's Mouth!--
" Soo sorry for everyone who evacuated and missed the show ! We had completely surrendered any hope of playing. We were hunkered down under the stage ready to go down with the ship when the whiskey came out. In a fit of liquid courage Patric made a mad dash into the storm.... and returned with his Bag Pipes.
We started with piping and clapping and singing Irish tunes of valor. Then as the rain let up we made it up to the stage where Joe threw down on the sax and Buku spun fire. Then Chris Berry plugged in the Embyra and started in with some chanting and Jenny came up and danced. Gilli of Luna fire and I got the drums going and a few other jumped in while Butterfly bliss did a fan dance. Then Matt Cartee got his kit put back together and Larry showed up with his bass. The whole stage was a whirl with technicians trying to set back up what we could. Cole got the front lights to come on and Scooter was added to the mix. We flipped the monitors over so the gathering crowd could have some sound and suddenly ....it was all together !!! Mark looked over in shock and excitement and said " its go time". Eventually the mains were added and performers kept showing up. The crowd swelled as the sound swam through the park and summoned everyone back home. It was sheer raw energy and by the end the bowl was packed and we were all singing together.... Welcome Home. A very surreal and cathartic experience, a true team effort, and way beyond our expectations. Thanx soo much to Matt James and his Amazing stage crew for putting in that effort and making magic happen it all because of you !! lol jojoxoxo"
omg....we left thinking nothing was going to happen....can't believe we missed out :(

The sheer amount of energy flowing from each of us under those majestic oaks was enough to move mountains, or at the very least keep a tornado or two at bay. This day is forever etched into my memory as a prime example of the ability for people to pull together, through good times and bad, and just sweat pure happiness. Amazing, utterly amazing.
