california produced a wave of outstanding track runners in the mid 90's. very few of them seen professional careers but you can only imagine what would have been.

I had the honor of getting my ass spanked by Granville in a meet back in 1996. To be sub-two and lose by nearly 100 meters is certainly a humbling experience; one that I will never forget.

This race brings back so many memories. I remember wanting to quit after this. Aaron ran a great race. Amazing, how I can now appretiate what I did, over a decade later. Thank you, who ever put this online. I would love to see the next year when I went 1:46.45.

1:46 is great competing for national times as well. 1:46 is UNBELIEVEABLE, especially at high school level. well done granville.
