You can also hit your head on the door on the way out, or the airplane could crash on take off. Not all aircraft crashes result in death. A helmet can keep you alive so you can get out of the burning plane. Lots of reasons for helmets or frap hats (soft helmets like mine).

To keep our hair nice... LOL Just Kidding. A lot of people wonder that also. You would think well, if he goes in what good is a helmet? The helmet or "frap hat" as I wear, are there so that we don't get knocked unconsious by someone else. You saw the people bouncing off each other in that violent wrap in the other video. Without helmets they could be knocked out or killed from impact with each other. Hence the protection.

This vid says it was added June 8, I just now recieved it. Hey just wondering some wear helmets and others caps. Why are any of them worn on jumps? Thanks for always answering my questions I know I'm good at it lol lol.
