I decided to record this video "on the fly" at a rehearsal studio in Columbus, OH because I was bored and tired of rehearsing the song I was doing, so I hit record on my webcam and set up a lil USB mic and...for some reason, my leveling has never been better! Blergh (but yay)!

Susana Baca is a great afro-peruvian singer who does all kinds of beautiful stuffs with her voice. This song is about a woman who works too much and I think, since the name of the girl has the same number of syllables as Susana Baca, it's probably self-reflective. I learned to think like this in college English class.

My mom asked me to sing in Spanish, so I obliged her. This song is dedicated to her. :) If you hear any incorrectly pronounced words, please tell me because I likey to learn.

Do you have any requests? Please let me know in the comments. I also like to sing in Arabic if you'd like to hear something in another language.

  • @carouselcorner Thanks for the compliment! My first language isn't Spanish - I wouldn't even call myself fluent in it yet, but I think it sounds prettier because Spanish is a prettier language. :) Very true about the radio stations, which is why I think the internet might be a better place to leverage what you're good at with what your fans want to hear from you. I wonder how many fans Hooty's isolated? I mean, didn't Mase mention them in "Mo Money Mo Problems?" Hehe.

  • @ddrusa Thanks!!

  • wow you sound so good
