Youtube compresses everything. The HD7 shoots interlaced, but it converted to progressive when put onto youtube, and the general quality is reduced for Youtube anyway.

post it on vimeo or in hq to get some potential out of the HD, bro.

Hi, I was upset to read in other comments that TOD files don't work for Final Cut Pro - hopefully it may with Final Cut Studio? I was wondering if the TOD files would work in Adobe Premire Pro CS3?

For some reason I'm more impressed with the Canon HV20 test videos. Dunno if it's because the author is using better software to process it before hitting YouTube or not..

You can import them to vegas as a TOD. changing them to .mpg also works but there's no point seeing as it accepts the TOD's

Yeah I'm thinking about buying this camera. I really like how pro it looks and the manual adjustment features but a bunch of reviews are bashing the video quality. What do you think of it so far?

I think the quality for the price is outstanding, the manual features are also great. However, as said on every review ever written, the image stabalisation is non-existant and it's not oo good in low light. Hope this helps!!
