*At last, the tour bus pulls up to the Jonas house. The boys rush off with their guitars in their hands. Kevin is in a daze, and he slips and falls when walking down the stairs.*
Joe: Whoa, you alright, bro?
Kevin: Im fine! Im ok! Im-
*he pauses as he sees a figure of a girl in the distance. He blinks, and its gone*
Nick: *chuckles* Dude you are so not ok! *thumps him in the back of the head and heads inside.*
*Kevin follows his brothers inside the house. When they get inside, the phone rings. He picks it up*
Kevin: Hello?
Girl on the other end: Is Nick there?
Kevin: Who wants to know?
Girl: Im Judy from Guitar Center and we would like to talk to him about a contest were having featuring him. Please put him on.
Kevin: Sure. *looks up* Nick! Youre stalkers on the phone! *Puts his ear back to the phone* Nice try, Clarissa!!
Clarissa: *scoffs* How did you know it was me?
Kevin: Its called caller ID, idiot!
Nick: *runs in* Gimme the dumb phone! *grabs the phone* what do you want?
Clarissa: Im hanging out on the street corner tonight! And for you all Ill charge is your virginity!
Nick: A, thats illegal, and B, you know Id never do that!
Clarissa: Oh come on, Nick, learn to live a little!
Nick: I am living! Im a rock star and youre a prostitute! *hangs up* Kev, remind me to sic the cops on her
Kevin: Noted!
*the phone rings again. Nick snatches it up*
Nick: What now, you slut??
*theres a pause on the line.*
Yvette: Nick, its Yvetteyou remember? Joes girlfriend
Nick: Oh my god, Im so sorry!
Yvette: Eh, dont sweat it. Just put Joe on
Nick: sure. *yells over his shoulder* Joe, pick up the phone! *waits*
Joe: I got it! You can hang up now!
Nick: *hangs up and turns to Kevin.* Girls. They make you lose it!
Kevin: *mutters* Speak for yourself! *goes into the kitchen and grabs a soda can.*
Nick: Kev, whats up? Youve been acting really weird lately!
Kevin: *while taking short, wheezing breaths.* Me? Weird? Acting? No! *Tries to sip his soda, but ends up spilling half of it down his shirt front.* Never better, bro!
Nick: Its her, isnt it?
Kevin: *nods as he puts the can down on the counter and goes up the stairs* Not that you care!
Nick: *follows Kevin as he goes to put on a clean shirt.* I do care. Not about the girl, but about you!
Kevin: if you really cared about me, youd care about her! *marches downstairs and grabs his house keys* Im going out there and Im not coming back until I find her!
Nick: Kev, wait, I-
*Kevin stomps outside and starts down the street, muttering to himself all the while*
Kevin: She is real. I know she is. Ill find her, even if its the last thing I-
*he isnt watching where hes going and ends up ramming into a girl whos on her cell phone, going in the opposite direction. She drops her bag and everything spills out. They both bend down to pick everything up*
Kevin: I am so sorry!
Girl: No, no, its my fault! Im such a klutz!
Kevin: Here, let me help you!
Girl: thanks!
*they begin to pick up the things that fell from the bag, when they bump heads by mistake. They look up at each other, startled a moment. The girls eyes widen*
Girl: hey arent you Kevin Jonas?
Kevin: yes, and you are?
Girl: Stephanie. But you can call me Steph.
Kevin: Its a nice name!
Steph: Thanks. I really am sorry for running into you. Im new to this part of town and I got kinda lost. Can you help me out?
Kevin: Sure! I got time!
Steph: great, because I need to get to the following address. *hands him a slip of paper.*
Kevin: *looking the paper over* Yeah, I know where this place is!
Steph: Perfect! Thanks so much! *starts walking*
Kevin: No problem*smiles to himself and walks with her.*
