I saw that you reviewed both this camera and the Sony Cybershot DSC-WX1. I would like to know which would you prefer in getting for taking intermediate photography taking and concert videos?

@xxkpoploverxx I would go for the Sony. The audio on this S8200 is not acceptable. Also at concerts I think it would distort the audio (although I have not tested it with loud music).

How can I get the camera to auto focus to close things during videos?

I just bought this camera 2 days ago, and I am having problems with the auto focus and when you take the picture it still focuses, i have to push the button multiple times in order for it not focus i even turned off auto focus mode and yet it still blurs the image.. I wish there was a program out there for the update on your camera so it wont do the auto focus while you push down on the button while taking the image.. that is really annoying to me... for better shots with it.. i have to go far.

can you take photos from recorded videos?? example... I have recorded some videos from a concert. what I would like to do is pause the recorded video at a certain point and crop a photo from that video so that i have a picture of it. Is that possible with this nikon camera?
