I am a truck driver too, i am 22 years old and i fear for something like this to happen. A number of things could have happened... One, could have been his steering linkage, if that brakes then you're fucked. Or maybe he just fell asleep. I am very interested to know wtf happened. I wonder if there are any skid marks going across the median from braking? If there is not, then i would guess he fell asleep or something medical happened to him, like a heart attack maybe =/

First, my heart breaks for the family and the driver's family. No matter what caused the crash, I am sure the driver was a good person also. My husband drives truck, and there are a lot of factors that can play a role in an accident. I worry every day that something will happen to him. Be aware of your surroundings and drive safe everyone.

I urge all to await the out come of the investigation before assigning blame. This tragedy could have been caused by a blown steer tire and not necessarily the truck drivers fault.
Prayers go out to all the families who lost loved ones.
