Just a small point and this is by no means a criticism! Little kids have tiny little short vocal chords. So their range is much much higher thabn yours. When you sing in a range that is comfortable for you, it is way too low for her. So she doesn't learn to pitch accurately, even though she is trying! Maybe sing in a falsetto voice and see if she matches your pitch and finds that easier?! Otherwise she is getting used to basically singing on the wrong notes, which is not good for her musical ear

Interesting comment -- I'm afraid I don't have the ability to sing falsetto at my rapidly advancing age. Sadly Lily hasn't wanted to sing with me much since then (clearly she doesn't want to lower herself to my level!)

That was sooo adorable! Amazing that she knew all the words, especially since this is not a typical kids' song. You have a wonderful voice. Hope to hear more of your singing (Lily too!) and your guitar playing!
