  • @Paula Peng: You will note that yes, the plastic blocks produced DO float, but because they do not resemble jellyfish any more they are unlikely to be deliberately ingested by sea turtles or cetaceans - they would probably be treated by wildlife as rather inert pieces of "driftwood". Further, because they are no longer "bags" but blocks no wildlife can get entangled in them any more. So these are definite advantages even if they do find their way into the ocean. But we should keep them out.

  • Y don't u just take the bags to ur local grocery store for recycling?

  • fuck turtles

  • Dude, im sorry, but this is extremely stupid to do... Why would u pollute more the environment with freaking FLOATING BLOBS OF PLASTIC??

There are many more animals out there than sea turtles, you know... And instead of wasting all that plastic by throwing it away, making it pile up more and more, why don't u melt it down cleanly and make items out of it or something! Make toys, tools, pipes, and many other things with plastic instead of wasting it, man! It does more good to the environment i bet

  • if you melt it, does it keep the color of the bags intact or do all the bags turn brown? This seems like a great way to recycle and craft new art pieces this way

  • there is no easier and faster way how to throw those bags in a trash-there's something wrong with this guy, I feel it....

  • I believe no body will follow this method.

We need to think and find better way..
