@maccagrabme ... yeh , ur right .. its meant to be oldskool probably . However ... personally i preffer every other fader cut and record scratch over the " crab " .. combos is the way to a good flow , not just throw in a crab and flare time after time . Preffer this dude over MANY other repetetive " cutters" !
@Python4s I think the idea is that this is oldskool scratching, hence the backing track. Back then the mixers didn't have super sharp crossfaders like today, therefore you needed real skill and innovation to sound good. Once you get into crab scratching its hard to avoid using it and I think it makes dj's a bit lazy and homogeneous.
not bad man , but i think you could do with a better mixer for scratching , i cant hear many chops or cuts , and i presume its the mixer and not you that wont produce a clean chirp or flare ...... my mixer is BAD , wont cut , even tho its a Dj focus mixer .
Pisses me off having this tiny slope even on sharp cut ! Actually broke off my fader stick through the battering i gave it hahahaha
