Tina Weymouth is fit. And makes some funky bass lines.

People don't really think of Byrne and Harrison as good guitarists but I think they're awesome and playing guitar. The chords they use, their picking patterns, everything really. I just love their tone as well. It sounds like none other that I've heard. Talking Heads forever!

Agreed. They did become very very popular and influential.
But no until after the release of SMS concert film.
Then they never toured again.
Two albums that followed were really good,
but by then byrne was on his way to other things.

As far as I'm concerned, considering the Heads talent and influence, they should have been much more successful. I guess maybe they were a little too quirky for some, but that's one aspect of the band I loved. I love songs about Air, Heaven, Paper, and Electric Guitars.

I got to see them live at Merriweather Post Pavillion [an outdoor venue in Md] in the early '80s. They did some Tom-Tom Club songs also. Everybody was dancing the entire time!
When the band members were introduced, of course Tina got the biggest applause.
