hold on by 33 miles

With a band name referencing the number of years Jesus walked the earth, 33 Miles wears their Christian influence proudly. After growing up in different southern states, deeply immersed in the church, Jason Barton (lead vocals), Chris Lockwood (guitar and vocals) and Collin Stoddard (piano and vocals) were first brought together in Nashville, Tennessee, as performers and believers in Christ. With a sound that blends the country-rock harmonies of Rascal Flatts with a modern pop twist, they released their first single, "What Could Be Better," in early 2007.

  • Jesus Christ is amazing! This song gives me chills every time i listen to it. My uncle has stage 4 lung cancer, so my little 11 year old brother sang this song and put it on a CD and sent it to him all the way down to New Mexico (: which is about 15 hours away from where we live. It meant a lot to him and my uncle, and suddenly they couldn't find anymore cancer in my uncle. My uncle does have his lung cancer back, but I KNEW, we ALL knew, that God had performed a miracle that day. Praise God!!

  • o my gosh this song was sent as a gift from God. Im goin through a really tough time and im almost ready to give up but this song encourages me =)

  • My best friend of 15 years, my loyal companion and best friend and brother, my dog RJ, or otherwise known as Flappy from his lips, passed away today. we had to put him down, he was so strong for me and my mom that he didnt even let us know he had cancer, he stayed strong and loyal for us. This song was sent to me from him, sung by him to me, as I was crying on the way home from college to him. I was crying so hard and this song came on and I knew, my hero once again was comforting me. RIP RJ.
