i totally forgot the gg version has a blue 2nd level. making it even darker and gloomier than the ms version.

sonic 2 8bit is the most disturbing of all 2d sonic games ! level designs, colors, musics....

2:11...An entire AQUATIC LABYRINTH stage. Could barely handle it.

I always saw Aqua Lake zone as the last "fun" zone before the harder zones. Skimming across the water, the funky music, loads of lives to pick up. The game was setting you up for the rest of the zones.
