Huston Riley raising the 12th man flag at Qwest Field

Nov 8th, 2009 was military appreciation day in the NFL and when the Lions of Detroit came to town to take on the Seattle Seahawks, the theme of the day was all about the armed forces. I have witnessed many a raising of the 12th man flag at Seahawks games in its now 7 year run. From the likes of former and current players, other local sports icons such as Gary Payton and Ichiro, local and national celebs like Kenny Mayne, members of Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam, and even Drew Carey. But all of them don't hold a candle to Huston Riley of Mercer Island who represented his fallen buddies and U.S. war vets everywhere, very well! God bless him, and God bless America!
