Stimming to music, weird blinking I've not seen before

He had a meltdown just as the movie he 'requested' to watch began. I thought it was time to remove the visual stimulus and try just music. It calmed him right down and he hopped in the chair and started stimming. He was blinking his eyes really rapidly which is something I've not seen in him before. And then he noticed the camera... *This was also this past week, I believe Tuesday (Feb 22, 2011)*

CDFoakley was my husbands account, then he gave it to me because I had so many videos and i was going to divide my themes, but they just sorta ended up sprinkled around both accounts.

@kgaccount Ahh, got it now. I was wondering if maybe I was imagining things or something. I'm glad to see Jamey making progress. Any improvement is a gift and I'm sure a relief as well. My heart goes out to you and your family for what you are going through, as well as to Jamey since he is the one actually afflicted. I can't pretend to know what you are dealing with, but I admire your courage and determination and hope I can manage to find a sliver of that amount in myself.

He may have been blinking because it was altering way he saw picture on TV to his liking. Definately a stim behavior. Best of luck to you Mom! He's a cutie. Hope all is well.

@kgaccount Well, it's possible he liked the effect of the blinking, but the TV wasn't on anymore. I was just playing music on the computer to chill him out. It worked so that was good. P.S. you are the same person as CDFoakley, I believe. If I may ask, why did you create a new profile? I sent you (CDFoakley) a msg last week I think and wondered if you got it?

My daughter does the same thing you've got it right as you are able to control him and keep him being the sweet little boy that he is :)
