101 East - Indonesian morality debate - Oct 29 2008 part 2

Indonesia, as the world's most populous Muslim country, has a long history as a tolerant and pluralistic society.

But controversial new anti-pornography legislation has sparked debate across the nation.

The law criminalises all public acts and material capable of violating community morality.

But critics say the legislation is too vague, overlaps existing legislation and tramples local customs in a country of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity.

This week, 101 East travels to the holiday island of Bali to ask if Indonesia can succeed in enforcing a new moral tone across its vast archipelago.

In my opinion, even nowadays, Indonesian who live in other countries, they feel ashamed if they admit that they are Indonesian.WHAT ASHAMED!!!!!!! Why Indonesian government and a lot of Indonesian are really lazy to use THEIR BRAIN!!!!!

I don't understand with Indonesia. Rather than You think about this issue, it's much much much much better You think about HOW YOU BUILD THE GOOD EDUCATION FOR YOUR CITIZEN, HOW TO AGAINST THE CORRUPTION, etc. This UU PP is just like to build Indonesia in one religion based, which is not Pancasila anymore. Why the government of Indonesia is really stupid like this? No wonder that Indonesia just become worst and worst nowadays. Maybe later, nobody will put their respect to Indonesia.

Kita dapat menolong-tolong menarung pada UU PP jadi dapat tidak terjadi negara Indonesia sudah berubah sebagai luar neraka sejati oleh Undang2x Anti-Pornografi dan pornoaksi.
