I know that there is a a different and more higher meaning to this song but i dedicated this song to my Girlfriend when i told her i was quitting dope and that i wanted change and she was the change i was waiting for. Song fit perfectly in that moment in my life. Still makes me cry every time i hear it.

I love this song, even though I'm anything but religious. I love how this song can be interpreted in multiple ways. No one has to be religious to be impacted by this song or Switchfoot.
