Bad Penny Camaro Sand Hills Open Road Challence 2011 (SORC) half mile run 148.9

2011 Sand HIlls Open Road Challenge - Took Penny to Arnold Nebraska to check another item off my bucket list. This was from the shootout held on Friday. We were going to run the full mile, but didn't realize we needed a six point harness, so we ran the half mile. This was my first run and I shut down through the traps, unfortunatly they were the wrong ones so it was only a quarter mile blast.. DOH! -- In my defense nobody told me they had flags at the finish. The next run I did 147.6 mph but found out I needed to shift to 5th.. last run was my best with a 148.9 mph! Not bad for an NA car at 2,800 feet. Thanks to Optima Batteries for the invite and I can't wait to go do it again!!
