dead snake still moves

EDIT: I understand why it moves still, i've known since I took biology, just been too lazy to change it. And I'm not in favor of killing the snake, I wanted to get it away safely but I wasn't allowed to touch it.

I found a snake near my stairs on the front porch and my friend killed it by severing the head. It still moved like usual because those things cling to life. So I got bored and videotaped it for a while. Sorry about any bad quality. By the way, the white thing on the right is the head.

Holy crap you couldn't be more wrong. The snake is moving because it still has something called Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), which is a cell's primary energy molecule, in its cells. Eventually the cells will run out of ATP and truly die.
