Rory was loved and admired by all the great guitarists, Clapton said the man who brought me back to the blues. See what the likes of Slash or Brian May had to say, they all looked up to him. Sometimes it take genius to recognise real genius.

Saw Rory open for Nazareth and Deep Purple in Atlanta in the seventies. Guess who blew both headliners totally away? He and the drummer did a harmonica drum jam for fifteen minutes to thirty thousand people.

Every single time I hear/se e this I gotta cry. The guy was in a league of his own. maybe Alvin Lee was the only one in Europe to reach something similar at times.
