  • I love the original house music....it had a rougher edge to it. Everything is too produced or trying too hard to be good. The old stuff was absolutely wicked without even trying! :-) Love and Peace 4 ever! x x x

  • Somebody stole this record from me at at party I was DJ'ing. It was the best record in my crate. 15 years later I'm still mad!!

  • @lucemorals100 I agree to that completely, today's dance music is too clean and has no soul behind it. The rhythms are standard 4 beats per bar, the bass is under repetitve sidechain, the synths have no atmosphere and the voice is always autotuned. No soul at all --_--

  • @wortism,

    I know what you mean.

Someone taxed my 'borrowed' copy of Strings of life after a party 15 years ago. I had to explain the loss to my mate, who never borrowed me any more vinyl!!! Still pissed off.

  • AMAZIN

  • @lucemorals100 I agree with you completely. Having experienced house music in its' prime it was all about putting you out on the dance floor instead of creating a hit song. Unfortunately, the big record labels got involved & given their mindset, house music was never the same again. Everything about it were so much better when it was produced independently.

  • @368Lefty Life's too short to listen to garbage! Maybe a change of venue?! Try Rodrigo Y Gabriella.

  • @alexeykh At least it will be an improvement than the garbage that we have today.

  • brings back alot of great memories

  • How awful that people should try to bring up the quality of music, Indeed, what is the world coming to? Soon we shall be listening to symphonies. Oh, boy!

  • @lucemorals100 just can't even comprehend this sound with the equipment we had back then. it's just not the same anymore.
