you can state your opinion without being so rude thecityexists, everyone's entitled to their choices and opinions. Cascadia can be used as a term for the area, it would be just like how a person says "I live in New England" or "I live in Dixe" or "I live in the Rocky's"

It just describes a region, weather stating physical properties, or even cultural ones.

You are trying to hard to piss people off. What matters is what is going to happen in the FUTURE. The bioregion is not actually called Washington. It is called the Pacific Northwest- home of the Cascade mountains i.e. CASCADIA. A "bioregion" isn't small in meaning. If you were to pull your head out of your ass long enough to read what I have wrote, then you might realize I wasn't trying to make a fuss. I see MY HOME as a part of Cascadia. I am sharing the idea & dream, not forcing it on others.

Borders & people change over time. The beautiful bioregion that I grew up in was originally claimed by: Russia, USA, Spain (mexico), Britain (canada), & also inhabited by countless tribes of native americans. Don't tell me what this region is or isn't. I already know what it was, is, & is going to become. May I remind you that where you say you live (Las Vegas) was once NOT part of the USA????
