Natural health and beauty expert Letha Hadady loves the tropics. Here are some of her favorite fruits available in Florida and by mail order. They are high fiber and full of sunshine. For health articles, recipes, and restaurant reviews see www.asianhealthsecrets.com

  • can you give me more of your opinion on the black sapote & the canistel fruit? What would you describe them to taste similar to? & on a scale of 1-10 how appealing is their taste? I ask because I am looking to experiment growing more tropical trees. Or, any others that you'd recommend to me & why? thanks

  • @Alina674

I think black sapote tastes a bit like maple syrup and canistel is said to taste like egg custard, creamy and semi sweet. Guava may be more hardy. Mamey is tasty but takes a long time to produce fruit ( maybe 4 yrs)

  • you are so lovely lady..how you explain those fruits...more power to you.

  • Thanks Chardnj.

Very nice to hear from you.
