hi
i heard of WOOFing about a year ago and i'm kind of interested in it
i would really love to know what you liked BEST about your experience
i LOVE to travel (not that I've done much traveling) and would love to one day volunteer at a farm or farms
do you have recommendations or advice future WOOFers should be aware of?
thanks for the video, it's really beautiful

Did you have to pay for the flight to Japan?

Very usefull comments thanks! Glad that i know u dont need to speak japanese to wwoof. I just signed up, but still need to pay the fee though. How long can you wwoof if i may ask?
How did the trains and busses work, do they have English signs?

@Jord5261 Why not longer than 2 weeks?

What did you have to eat?

@Jord5261 Thank You! Awesome video, By the way! :)

@jrh767 No Visa is necessary to wwoof, it's a pretty informal process. Just sign up on the WWOOF Japan site and pick which farm you want to stay at.

hey, just curiuos, because i like to do woofing in japan too. how did you get to the farms ? because i guess you didnt have a car, right?

@matthew220219 the farms would tell me which trains and buses to take, then they would pick me up from the bus stop. While I was at the farm they had a bike I could use to get to town.

I'm curious, did you speak any Japanese? Did you find it hard to communicate with the woman housing you, and were you lonely or isolated, if you did speak limited Japanese? I am thinking of WOOFING too, but I kind of worry about this...

I would ride the bike down to the supermarket and get some pizza and a coke to remedy my homesickness. It actually made a huge difference! or I would watch some movies I'd brought before bed. Most of the time depending on how long you stay at each farm you will get other WWOOFrs coming through and they are always excited to meet new people. *I would recommend not staying at any one farm longer than 2 weeks* Everything else is all part of the adventure! Don't hesitate to ask me any ?'s
