i think alot of their new stuff is magic as well. it sounds like you dont agree with their new material.
You Could Be Happy, the Lightning Strike just two examples.

Hi. Snow patrol are my favourite band, so I like all of thier music, but for me, there is just something about their older stuff that really gives me a feeling of electric.. Thier new stuff is brilliant too, dont get me wrong, but their older stuff just feels more me.. Then again songs like 'Please just take these photos' remind me of their older stuff.. A hundred million suns is a brilliant album, and so is Eyes open.. I actaully think I like their new stuff as much as the old stuff **

**There is just something about the atmosphere in their older work, which I love. I cannot put my finger on it. For example, this song just sounds so organic, so pure and sad and dark, and that's what I love. It's really raw. It sounds like they don't care how they sound, so they are rather going and singing on raw feelings if you get what I mean... Thier older work reminds me of my days growing up as a teenager. A lot of their new stuff does the same thing to me, though like on a 'million suns'

i know exactly what you mean.
im a teenager and everything about snow patrol just connects. I totally wasnt disagreeing, with you, rather more seeing if you still the magic in the new stuff.

I know exactly what you mean, snow patrol have that magic emotional aspect. whilst i LOVE other bands, RHCP, sufjan stevens, Radiohead, Blur etc etc, they dont connect like SP does.

My friends dont understand why i love snow patrol so much, and it makes me think that (most) teenagers actually "connect"**
