  • Ah, to be young and innocent again. The simple black and white thinking, organizations that are obviously and utterly good. Believing you can grow up to become some sort of super hero lynchpin to stop obviously evil bad guys.

Hard to believe I was ever that innocent.

  • Yeah that's amazing how much this show plays up to childhood fantasy! The kids parents are nowhere to be seen, he runs around impressing his cool secret agent friends by controlling his awesome giant robot, he saves the world repeatedly....

  • I've always wondered why the Japanese military sends out soldiers with rifles to battle these monsters, whether it's Nucleon or Godzilla. They can't do squat except commit suicide with those weapons before being crushed or melted.

  • A giant bowling ball on the loose, and "giant robot, COME!!" .....toooooo cheesy. BUt I watched and liked it back in the day! LOL

  • Does the Emperor Guillotine sound like Krusty the Clown to anyone else?

  • I love the toy tanks they sent to try to engage it! So,so corny! And the language is just too much! You can't help to laugh!

  • Jetpacks! Where do I sign up?

  • I know there was an anime of this in a similar vein, but I would love to see Hollyweird take this on:

He Stands over 50 feet tall! He can fly 36 times the speed of sound and has an arsenal of weapons to save the world...And it's all in the control of a 9 year old boy!

After a film like Hot Tub Time Machine, anything is do-able in Hollyweird!

  • This show reminds of the first giant anime robot Gigantor. I say that because both shows have a young kid controlling the most advance robot on Earth.

  • I always liked Unicorn. The only group I liked better was the Science Patrol from the Ultraman series. The Japanese always had a talent for making the good guys cool.

  • Brings back memories from my childhood :-)

  • i really enjoyed this as a kid. it's a wonder how the flying jet packs didn't burn

    their butts while flying! lol
