Armagh accent?? If this isn't a Cavan accent "which I am very sure it is" it's a Fermanagh or Monaghan accent then. It sounds like the accent you will hear on the Cavan,Monaghan border near Cootehill and Shercock but what ever accent it is it's far from an Armagh lol

I have to agree with "Mountnugent" 1949 - I reckon Cavan Man is from Mountnugent.
He sounds like a cross between Gerry Smith (from the garage) and Ian McEnroe.

Gotta agree with you's all. Its not a Cavan accent. That audio file I got it from was name "Cavan Man" so I left it at that. More of a Louth accent to my ears.

Great to hear this again. Did anyone ever hear the other one with the same man who phoned in and was complaining about how he had to drive his daughter to the vet in Ashbourne and was run off the road into a ditch by a lorry...it was even funnier.
