  • is it ok to use quakers oats if not what is a better brand but something that you don't have to grind or add water to it and let it sit over night just something you can use easily in the morning

  • @virginiatechfanx I think Quaker oats are perfectly fine. Any brand of rolled oats will do!

  • Poor oats into a bowl, add milk and then eat.

  • Had a medical recently and my LDL is through the roof, so I'm on (voluntary) porridge breakfasts. Just oats, water and milk. I've always liked it. In the old days we added sugar, but it'd be too sweet for my modern taste.

  • One thing I have to disagree with is, oatmeal is not a low calorie food. lol
