The nuevo tango "Libertango" by Astor Piazzolla. This is my first uploading since getting a new Roland FR-7x. I'm using a Bowed Bass and in the treble the middle Bandoneon reed. I also use the HIGH mode with the violin as the high note while the bandoneon plays the lower notes.
If you are interested in purchasing a collection of 13 sets created for the Roland 7x, please email me. The sets include a variety of styles including Italian, German, French, Country, Rock, Latin, Big Band, Orchestral, and several all-purpose sets--with and without rhythms. The sets have been painstakingly developed over a period of months. Programming instruction is also available.

  • ..... although your prestidigitation it would be allow faster! Many Artists make just this mistake. They stumble during the playing over their own speed and swallow half of melody. Keep up the good!

I'm a german, my english isn't good. Hope, you understand it.

    Kind regards.

  • Excellent point again! I completely agree about the speed, and know that I have been guilty of playing too fast. Artistically, playing too fast can destroy the "feel" of a piece. I do appreciate that point, and try to perform at a speed which is within my comfort zone, and that also allows me to be expressive.

    I appreciate your thoughtful comments.

  • Hi Richard! You are undoubtedly one of the best Accordionists here on youtube and I visit your account every few weeks to look about news. It's nice, that you can play on your Roland FR7-V and it sounds like a clarinet, a trumpet or a whole orchestra, but most of all I like it, when an accordion sounds like an accordion. So I wish you show us someday more solo parts only with this instrument.

Specially I like it, that you present the pieces of music very emotionally, .....

  • Thanks for your astute comments. I agree with what you're saying about accordion sounds. I've emphasized orchestral sounds on youtube more than I do in my normal playing, although for some songs (e.g., The Swan) I consider the orchestral sounds essential. So I think we are in fundamental agreement, and I will probably be posting some accordion pieces when I get a chance to do so.
