Just me and my Dad out on the concord river in Massachusetts.
Boat is a 14 foot Wagemaker Wolverine, a heavy duty utility probably from the late 1950s. I have read that most were made of strip planked cedar, so this one is somewhat uncommon.
Footage of the heron was taken in Bedford downstream of Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. There were a lot of herons in the area and they seem less afraid of boaters every day.

We also saw a number of red belly and box turtles
