The millinery workroom or atelier is the creative laboratory where hat designs are transformed from ideas into reality. In this video you can see one of Stephen Jones' creations come to life.
In the words of Stephen Jones, a milliners workroom is half Aladdins cave and half artists studio, a place where each hat is carefully coaxed into being.
This video was made for the Victoria & Albert Museum's exhibition 'Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones' 24 February - 31 May 2009.

Does anyone know where I can buy the actual blocking she uses here? I hate having to form hats by hand.

Great process, but the end product with that red and white took it from classy to unwearable and trashy looking ... Ooh well, someone out there likes it! To each his own. :)
