Hello Beautiful People!!!

Everyone on a weight-loss journey should set aside at least 1 day where they can go through all the boxes, bags and packages of snacks and foods that come in bulk proportions and separate out the serving size per person size into zip=lock babies, containers, etc.. for ease in grab-n-go selection and or just their cooking needs.

I had a problem with grabbing the bag and snacking right out if thinking I could count if it said a portion was 13 chips, but I would lose count and sometimes as I found from weighing out the portions I was doing myself out of a few chips I could have enjoyed since I put down the foods in my nutrition tacker as 1 complete serving and yet they were not, or perhaps there was more.

By Pre-Portioning out your foods and snack items you have more control over what your going to put into your mouth.

You are not tempted by having the whole box or bag in your lap assuming you can stop at just the few it says you can have for the suggested serving size.

You can grab it and go and not be tempted to eat while out and about.

Cooking meals will be easier to take something out of the freezer for yourself or your family and you only defrost what you will use. Having more food cooked than is recommended you eat will only make you or someone else in your household over eat more than the recommended portion size. I know I hate wasting food!

Hope you enjoyed this video.

  • Lol and I never liked mayonnaise, except in spinach dip. He he, now the differences come out, we really are sisters, ha ha.

  • @beacher1967 Oh I love spinach dip, and with artichoke omg is that not awesome? But I wont eat that, I know I wont be able to stop myself from that binge if ever its in my house I will eat every bit of it LOL

  • I eat the omega eggs, ha ha, but I do force myself to eat fish every now and again, but it is usually hidden, like tuna sandwich with miracle whip, onion and celery or battered halibut with lots of ketchup.

  • @beacher1967 I don't so mayo anymo! Its mustard or ketchup only or I just wont do it. Eggs and oil beaten to me is like taking a bit bite out of a stick of butter YUCK! Never liked Miracle chit, for me it was always Helmans!

  • I hate fish. I force myself to eat it probably once every 2-3 weeks, but I dread it, seriously. Never liked it, used to projectile vomit as a kid until my mom finally gave up making me eat it, ha ha. I do freeze things portioned out, so can relate to you! Love your little booklet there. You rock. That cat is hysterical!

  • @beacher1967 You sound like my bestie Jennifer "Niffer", she hates fish & I ♥ it & have it so often its hard having her over where I can invite her 2 dinner I know she will say eeew no! U should never have 2 force yourself 2 eat anything U don't like though. There are many ways 2 get in the same fats & minerals U find in seafood in other types of foods. Seems these days there are alternates 4 everything. I have 4 cats, & an outside one, moms has 1 & they are all hysterical LOL

  • I made it at Christmas but was too woozy to eat it, otherwise it would have been binge cetral. Never had it with artichokes. Do share.

  • I love this video!! I do the same thing with portions...I have a very hectic schedule like most people, so it helps take the guess work out, and saves time when I'm in a hurry...BTW, your looking fabulous!!!! Keep it up!!!!!

  • Great idea putting the labels inside your food diary. I know that sometimes my fish doesn't have a nutrition label, so that would be a great reminder.
