@amistwo That may be because that is the sheathed version, if you look at the sheathe when you wield it, I think its the same.

@3000meganerd But the Dark Sword I had was plain black. It wasn't as colorful as the one in the trailer.

@amistwo Dark sword. You get it from the Darkwraith covenant.

@amistwo I believe that is the Dark Sword, gotten by going to kill the Four Kings with the Lordvessel, and joining the Dark Wraiths covenant by talking to Kaathe, who spawns there right next to the Bonfire in the Abyss. You must then offer 30 humanity to get the +2 rank in the covenant to get that, and the Darkwraith armour. However, Kaathe will not spawn if you have already used the Lordvessel with Frampt.

@scott71785 Oh, thats not a boss, thats a beginning of the cutscene where you touch the golden ring immediately after the Iron Golem fight and you summon the gargoyle(ish) demons to take you to Anor Londo.

This trailer is probably why I bought the game. I haven't played it in a few weeks, but watching this again makes me want to. Seriously, give a raise to whoever masterminded this and the Bartholomew trailer.
