This is my first tank. It is a 55 gallon freshwater tank. It has 2 Kuhli Loaches, a BN Pleco pair, and 6 cherry barbs(2m 4f). In a few weeks I will be getting 2 Marble Veiltail Angelfish. I have pool filter sand for my substrate. I have 2 Aquaclear 50's running and a Visitherm Stealth 200 Watt heater.

I also showed my 10g QT/Fry Tank for kicks. It is cycling and has no light yet.

  • man great tank, love the sand substrate, looks really natural. Where did u get the pool filter sand from? and what is the name of the big bunch plant growing to the right of your tank? also did u put a growing soil substrate under your sand?

  • Thanks. Pool filter sand came form a local pool shop. Plant is called guppy grass. No soil substrate and only 40 W and everything is doing great. Look at my new video of my redecorate. I think it looks alot better. I took out the guppy grasss, it got everywhere and was really messy. It is good for fry and shrimp though.
