Here is an update with narration :-)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMVfdoIjxOw

Experimenting with oil, not doing it inside anymore after some oily layer was found on everything by my wife in our living room : ) Please also be cautious and clean your chimney, your chimney will get lots of bubbly greasysote on it. The temperature will also get very hot, too hot according to our stove dealer.

  • What is this? In oil-burner setup in an open franklin stove? Running too rich.. Gonna light-up the house!

  • @HarryHydro

  • woww, nice flame!! Good job! :)

  • @shotglass00 Or two. LMFAO!!!

  • I have a factory made propane heater as a back-up. It's a life-saver. It doesn't need electric, but it does have an electric fan to help blow heat around. When the oil-furnace goes off, or the electric goes off, this propane heater takes over when it gets chilly. It keeps the whole house about 60.

I'm told insurance doesn't like these either.

  • You can roast a pig in there.
