Why was this not even an issue until Obama came along? Yeah, most of the issues with the system are because of an abundance of funding for Weapons and Defense Contractors;With a lack of funding for Medical Research and Education. If the people were more educated they wouldn't let their leaders spend so many tax dollars Overseas.

What if the issues you have had with the system were from lack of funding? Where better funding would lead to better care and better pay for doctors. As far as dealing with major expenses, that would have probably helped the people who have had to file from bankruptcy as a result of overwhelming medical bills. I think so many of the governments money issues are symptoms of a broken health care system.

Your'e starting to make some sense there hanzelface. I just don't know about healthcare reform though. I have had socialized medicine my whole life and it sucks. My parents were in the military and I am now. There are times that it comes in handy for major expenses but as far as quality it's horrible. I have had and have heard nothing but horror stories of botched Surgeries and MalPractice.

Best Idea I have heard yet. A Conflict of interest is there when Candidates recieve millions from Corporations and those with special interest (personal gain). I don't believe the two Party system works either, because it limits the Choices we the people have in a Vote.

No, I agree with you there. The Elite have taken advantage of the system through lying, cheating and stealing. In Order to fix the system you would have to Abolish the IRS, Central Banking System and all the government waste. It's a Big Club of Criminals and you and I aren't in it. The System you speak of only exist on paper and T.V. screens. "Star Trek" living to improve life is a great notion.
