  • Is there supposed to be a break between the 2nd and 3rd movements, or are they kind of linked together like the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto?

  • @rapter9800 They are separate, the only major concertos other than the Tchaikovsky I can think of with linked movements are the Bruch #1, Glazunov, and Mendelssohn.

  • I have commented Kogan many times already. And i'm convinced it's the most useless thing.

Sounds like like I want to comment a work of God

  • Kogan...superb. Does anyone know if Heifetz played this concerto or indeed recorded it?

  • I am speechless !!!! the sole is playing ...

  • Kogan4life

  • So tender and masculine manner of playing. What a sound, phrases, tempo... He was an amazing musician with the great sence of the beauty and the dramatic.

  • KOgan carrys the torch for Paganini !

  • sheer magnificence

  • Je suis là.
