Pat Boone's program from the late 60s only lasted one season (1967-1968). Because he no longer had the clout he once had in the 50s, he wasn't able to book any really major stars and as a result, the show had alot of cool off-the-wall guests like this. The holy grail among collectors is to locate a copy of Pink Floyd's legendary appearance on this program. Reportedly, Syd Barrett was so zonked out that he couldn't even lip-synch, and the interview after the performance was downright bizzare.

This sounds more like 1958 but it is the Pat Boone Show. If he were more famous then Rick Moranis would do a great impression of him.
