Was this video intended as a joke? Not only is his artwork extremely amatuerish, he manages to dispense bad advice along the way. I wouldn't even hang that sketch on my refrigerator if he were my 5 year old son.

ocelott22 and steel01 are actually correcy..learn anatomy..literally yesterday i studied muscle anatomy and then after few minutes i become a amazing drawer somehow :D

Yea I thought this was bad to, I'm 15 and it's like I can definitely sketch out a character better. Where's the looseness? He talks about endless possibilities and then draws the most mundane figure ever!

Yeah I wouldn't go about drawing in this way. I highly recommend HOW TO DRAW COMICS THE MARVEL WAY.

whew. talk about the wrong stuff lol learn anatomy first kiddies. even for cartoony art as opposed to comic book art, the knowledge of anatomy is a must. i wouldn't recommend starting a sketch this way, i'm sorry. i don't mean to be a jerk, but this is wrong. anyone who wants to do it the right way, rent or buy "HOW TO DRAW COMICS THE MARVEL WAY" that'll get you to a good start.

I appreciate the effort he has made. BUT! Do not listen, like others have said. Learn anatomy first, think about gesture and proportion. Once you learn your anatomy, then you can begin to stretch it and make BELIEVABLE characters.
Note.. I always start with the gesture line first... but thats just me.
