Live performance of "The Prisoner" by Tears For Fears at Brunel University in 1983.

I am sorry about the uncomfortable noise in the sound.

  • If my visa gets accepted, I'll be doing a master degree at Brunel University next year. I will walk on the same ground Tears for fears once walked on. This is even more exciting than ever!!!

  • @minily Thank you for the nice comment! It sounds like a very fantastic coincidence to go to the University where they performed on 28 years ago when they were presumably as young as you are now. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your visa-acceptance!

  • I love how Roland just chucks the tambourine at the end :)

  • lol, thank you for the nice comment! I agree with you, he gives us smiles when he does that. :) I also like how he throws a towel at the camera at the end of 'scenes from the big chair'. :)

  • @vior4ever This was one of the last concerts with the original line up of Tears For Fears. I'm told that Manny and Ian left because their contracts with the band had expired. :(

  • @earlymtv : I agree with you 100%. He is a great bassist. Actually, all of the original lineup of TFF did great with their instruments...they were just perfect!

  • @minily- Indeed, it will be! Wish you all the best.

  • curts a great bass player. not many mention that.

  • Some fierce bass in The Prisoner always love to hear it live, go TFF!

  • Happy Birthday, Curt! This track is one of the real highlights on 'The Hurting'.

  • @bunarbashi 28 years!!! Wow, funny indeed how time flies. Thanks for your wishes!

  • Always a pleasure to watch a live performance of this song. This is one is really good.
