Sweet.. Great review! I also remember that hot day, or few days... I was up in Bakersfield then, and it was very weird. It's usually only about 45-50 that time of year.

My fave Coen film. It should be viewed numerous times to appreciate it fully. Also check out their "Hudsucker Proxy" which has a similar feel. If you like the fast-paced comedic dialogue, also check out old Howard Hawks and Billy Wilder films like "His Girl Friday," "Stalag 17" and "One, Two, Three."

THIS MOVIE IS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!! I'm so glad someone else has seen this. It's easily one of the most underrated Coen Brother's movies. It's such a great little gem that not many people have seen. Good work man!!!

I think I need to buy it cuz I can see myself watching it over and over again...the dialogue is sooo fast that I feel like I'd find out other cool stuff on repeated viewings!

The dialogue is SUPERB in this film. It's definitely one I've been meaning to buy for some time now. Did you by any chance catch the Sam Raimi cameo in this movie?! He's got a small part as "Snickering Gunmen."

haha yeah, he's the one that shoots those pistols like a madman after the building blows up and then gets shot up by machine guns right? LOL
