  • Great Vid's I am learning so much! What are your settings for your vocals? like the layers I'm hearing is there a setting for that? is it a preset? or do you have to make i yourself?

    Thanks

  • @TownsidaRecords no presets, I just adjusted as I needed. I recorded the line once, then I recorded it again. The first line I did it in a higher register, and the second was in the mid register. So I ended up with two tracks. I then panned one a little to the left and the other a little to the right, not a whole lot though. I bounced both of them into one track and that was it. :)

  • How do you record in record ? Then put it in video (imovie or idvd, etc)

  • @severlothario1 to record, just follow along with this video. if you want to put it into a video, you need to export it by going to file>export track as audio file. then you can import it into your favorite video editing program.

  • @WhizzKidBlogs I had the same issue. Hopefully you've found your solution by now, but if not, what I had to was save money and by an external audio interface (focusrite saffire 24 to be specific) & run all audio through it because PC's (I'm assuming your on PC if u have a driver issue) won't support input & output. I hope I said it right but my stuff has been working flawlessly sense. Better sound too

  • @Brewbaby14 how do you like your Saffire 24? I've been looking at it to help speed up pre-production. i've heard really good things about from other Reason/Record users.

  • @dr3zit0 let me know if you have any questions

  • @WhizzKidBlogs go to preferences>audio and make sure you have the corrct sound card selected. you may only have the output selected instead of input and output. if you have a mac then the input is not powered. you need to power your mic before sending it to the input.

  • nice tutorials dude, thanks, 'm now downloading the demo of record, let's see if it's worth it :)
