Me test flying my new Walkera 5G4Q3 Semi-Scale 2.4GHz Remote Control Coaxial Helicopter. Inexpensive, quite well-made, looks great & loads of fun! Needed to be trimmed a bit to get it to fly properly...So I found out after a minor crash...into Matt's new helictoper! No damage done! The new 2.4GHz Tx Walkera are selling as standard with this heli is a definite step up from the crappy old Tx's they used to sell. They are by no means my Align T-REX but are good value for a beginner or for heli-fun for anyone indoors on a windy or rainy day or outside in calm conditions.

  • Yeah I have a T-REX 450SE V2 and they are a bit of a beast when compared to a coaxial like the airwolf. I got the Align EC-135 Scale Body for my birthday which I'm going to build up another T-REX and stick the body on that. I will put up videos when I do that. Thanks for your comment.

  • does the tail drift a lot? do u have to fight the tail all the way through?

  • Yeah it does drift a bit as the battery starts to depleat. I find as the battery starts to discharge I have to constantly increase the yaw in one direction to keep it flying straight. My Walkera 5#10 does this too. I also tinkered with the Gyro setting on the receiver so the gyro had a bit more authority over the tail (not that the tail has a rotor on it but you know what I mean!). This improved things.

  • Gotta love people who give 1 star ratings for other's videos but don't say anything, don't say who they are etc... how constructive & up front of them!... yawn...

  • I got that one from Hornsby westfield like, a year or 2 ago, and I flew it and it flew really bad, nothing like yours does, but I swapped it for an HM5#10 :D the main gears were completely shredded all by themselves a day later, lol.

  • Small coaxials like the lama are a great way to start

  • lol haha Craig

  • Excellent video and piloting. I'll be getting one in April-May and this has been quite inspirational.

  • Nice flying, I just got one myself. Looking for a trick video.

  • As a big Airwolf fan my selfe, I find this to be an awesome product. Very nicely detailed, and flys very easily for beginners and novice pilot's. I've got an Airwolf Trex 450XL and I'm intimidated by that machine. But this is cake walk!

  • hahaha that helicopter is not that loud in reality. I'm in an underground carpark in my apartment building which makes it sound much louder than it really is. Lots of echo etc but yeah on the video it is noisy!
