The day after Brooke Shields ended her limited run as Roxie Hart in 'Chicago' on Broadway, she was interviewed by Matt Lauer on The Today Show. Brooke spoke candidly about her difficulties in getting pregnant for the first time, her post-partum depression after her first baby was born, and confirmed that she was pregnant for the second time. No Infringement is intended.

  • Brooke is much more intelligent and likable than Tom. She has class -- and he is an ass.

  • @baybaygotgroove I like the pun! Thank you for watching :)

  • tom has noo idea what it is like to give birth and have this kind of depression!tom is such an dumbass

  • @catherinedoll19 I have to agree with you there: Tom Cruise is just a bit of a "blah blah" :)

  • I can't believe that Tom would had said that. He doesn't understand a depression like that, you just have to get throug that to know it. So insensitive, and the worst part is that I like soooo much Tom. But I totally support Brooke.

  • @Fhoebys16 Thank you for your support :)

  • I'm very skeptical of drugs, but Brooke is speaking from knowing, Tom from wanting to know.

  • What Tom Cruise didn't say is that he thinks psychiatric drugs 'only mask the problem' because we are all in fact haunted by the negative souls of ancient aliens murdered in volcano's.

  • @WatchVenusSpa Brooke Shields is very candid in the "Down Came The Rain" book and, yes, really brave indeed. I wish her all the best in the world <3

  • @cajayson8301 THANK YOU for watching & commenting. I've been a Brooke Shields fan for 30 years! I really-really admire her. <3

  • @misslevoyce So true: I couldn't have said it better! THANK YOU for your comment :)

  • she's matured a heck of a lot. In the first sort of pretty baby days and even after, her interviews has her speaking so young, so shy and so ill at ease with attention. She seemed as reserved as a can of bake beans. But you see her now, so so confident and that just adds to her beauty.

  • gotta agree with tom on this subject.
