Underdog 2 Chapter 7

It's actually so hot here at the moment shame I had to stuck inside all day at work lol
I actually don't think I have ever posted this many in one week I have totally made up for bailing on you guys last week that's for sure lol :D

Sam p.o.v

"Hey what's wrong?" I whispered as I leant my head softly on Mia's shoulder. She opened her eyes slightly and looked down at me
"Nothing I'm just a bit tired" she yawned as she closed her eyes again
"Swimming?" I asked and she nodded her head softly
"I've been up since 5" she hummed and I smiled
"But you'll be awake for your date right?" I questioned and her lips broke out into a smile
"But of course, why do you think I'm taking a nap now" she laughed and I smirked
"You like Chris then?" I pondered and she smiled again
"He's different" she stated and I raised my eyebrows at her
"You know you do that a lot" she smirked and I rolled my eyes at her
"You're changing the subject" I complained and she laughed
"He's like a breath of fresh air Sam, plus he's pretty easy on the eyes" she smirked and I laughed
"He is pretty cute, but nothing compared to nick" I admitted and she smile but it was soon lost

"Talking about you and nick what's this I hear about the two of you arguing all the time" she asked concern clear in her voice
"We don't fight all the time" I pouted
"That's not what I hear" she told me and I looked at her in surprise
"What do you hear?" I asked and she turned to face the window again
"just what people tell me Sam, that you guys fight over the most smallest pettiest things, what's up with that?" she asked clearly confused and I sunk further back into my seat
"I don't know" I blearily whispered
"I guess with being so close all the time... I don't know... it's just been hard" I sighed and she turned to face me clearly saddened by the fact she had made me upset
"But your alright now?" she asked clearly trying to cheer me up
"I guess" I shrugged and she placed her arm around me
"you're going to knock him for six with that dress today" she giggled and I couldn't help but smile when the thought of tonight flooded my mind again I was excited maybe going out having some fun was just what me and nick needed
"You really think so" I smiled
"I know so" she smirked and I could feel my cheeks start to flush

It wasn't long before we were all making our ways through the hallways of the hotel goofing off as we made our way towards our rooms.
"Well look who it is" we all stopped and looked up to find Kevin, Joe and nick standing in front of us. I looked towards the rest of the girls and a smile broke out across my lips
"Three" I smirked
"Two" Mia laughed
"One" Alexis smiled
"Run" Lauren giggled already trying to make her way past Kevin who had her waist engulfed in his arms. I laughed at the sight but it soon faded as I turned to find nick standing in front of me his eye brows raised
"You think you can get past me" he smirked
"I'll guess we'll find out" I laughed making a run for it.

I didn't make it far before I felt nicks arms wrap themselves around my waist. I didn't try to fight against him I just melted into his arms
"Aren't you meant to be trying to escape" he whispered into my ear and it sent shivers through my body
"I like it to much here" I admitted and he pressed his lips to my neck his smile clear against it
"Good because I wasn't planning on letting you go" he smiled and I couldn't help but return it.
We were soon broken from our moment my a playful cry for help

"Hey love birds care to help" Mia's voice rung through the hallway and I broke from nicks lips to burst into fits of laughter, nick chuckling behind me.
There in front of us was Joe Alexis hung over his shoulder an infectious smile consuming her lips.
Kevin stood closely beside him Lauren trapped tightly in his grip both of them holding Mia in a head lock her hair a compete mess as she tried to fight against them with no luck
"I wish I had my camera" I sighed and nick laugh
"Good job I have my phone isn't it" he smile as he reached into his pocket
"No!" both Alexis and Mia screamed both in fits of laughter as nick held up his phone.

But it was already too late the moment had been captured to be remembered forever. It had been a day that no one had wanted to forget...or so it seemed. There was plenty more hours left in this day....
