Thanks very much! I've been wondering how this works for years!
Every time I watch one of your video's, I'm torn between envy of your skill, and admiration of the fact that you seem a genuinely nice guy. :)

I'm pretty sure I have the same side snare as you. Can you please tell me how you tune it? It sounds phenomenal.

The snare itself sounds great without much attention. I tune both heads pretty tight without choking the sound to death, that makes it easy to play (more rebound) and gives it a snappy sound. The fine tuning knob of the snare wires is important, it has to be tight but also loose enough to let the drum breath, experiment with it, I'm sure it won't take long to find a great sound. Great vid man! What is the name of your sidesnare? ( or secondary snare, whatever it's called :P) It's sounds awesome!

Hey man, I have the same (DW I'm assuming) drop clutch and very similar hi-hats - K 13" light.
You're really good. What hi-hats do you have?

My hi-hat's a Zildijan 13" K's, very nice hats. The drop clutch I'm using works great but I think it's a Gibraltar one, not even sure, would have to check, maybe it is even a DW :-)
Take care
