@soricinae If he knew what this song was really about it would not have the "happy" vibe from it thats why I prefer Robyn Hitchcock but we all have our opinions.

Along with "Jumping at Shadows" by Peter Green, this is a video I keep coming back to. The band is right on the mark, obviously in the moment, obviously happy. Moments like these are hard to come by, you can't please everybody so you have to please yourself, right? Go cool cat bass player!

I think this shows how well Syd's compositions adapt and flourish in all kinds of interpretations. There is a lot to be mined from the mind of Syd.
