Doc: Before I say anything...I am letting you know we have never dealt with anything like this before because usually our patients listen to us...(he sounds annoyed and nervous)
Demi: Hold up...before you say anything else...is he going to die?
--------BACK TO NOW--------
Doc: I am not going to lie to you...so...yes, he may very well die....
Demi: (looks over at Nick who looks like hes just been stabbed in the heart and she uses a really quiet voice) What?
Doc: I Im sorry I have to go...(he rushes back into the room)
Demi: Nick? (She said that quietly and she put a hand on his shoulder but Nick just looked glued to the spot he was standing in, his eyes looked glazed and he turned really cold.) Nick? (She ran her hands through his hair and he made no movement) Nick. He wont die. He cant. (She takes his face in her hands but he still makes no effort of movement, he just stands there staring at the floor)
Kevin: (He comes back in with his parents and they all stop talking when they see Nick and Demi trying to get him to move) Demi? Whats wrong?
Demi: Um...um...Nick...hes not feeling well...
Denise: Is it his diabetes? (She asked worried)
Demi: No, he just needs some air...you know how it is with hospitals...(She takes his hand and physically has to pull him because he wont move. They reach the front of the hospital and she sits him down on the steps and hes still just staring off not saying anything.) Nick? Please talk to me. I wanna hear your voice. It always makes me feel better. (She looks at him pleadingly and he finally makes a move and slightly turns his head towards her and looks at her and he manages a small smile and she slides over beside him and takes his hand in hers.) Im sorry...Im - You dont have to talk if you dont want too. Its just me being (He interrupts her by pulling her into him and kissing her passionately, she was surprised but kissed him back anyway. His lips felt cold against hers but she didnt care. He held her face with one hand and pulled her more into him and she ran her hands through his hair. He kissed her deeply and with love and he finally pulled away. What was that for?
( In a quiet voice)
Nick: (He finally spoke) I dont know...just felt like it needed to be done I guess (He managed a small smile again and she did the same.) Dont leave me...okay? (He whispered in her ear)
Demi: Are you crazy? Why would I ever do that? ( She touched his face and he looked down)
Nick: I dunno...just, just promise okay? (He took her hand and held it tightly and she looked at him with confused worried eyes.)
Demi: I promise. (She tried looking in his eyes to try and read them but he wouldnt let her.) Dont worry Nick...(She pulled him into a hug and they just held each other for what seemed like hours but was really only 20 minutes when Denise, Paul and Frankie came charging through the doors of the hospital looking tear - stained and frantic.)
Denise: (She was completely a mess and I dont blame her, her son is dying, her mascara was all down her cheeks and she looked like she could pass out at any second, she spoke through her crying and hysteria.) WHERE IS MY SON??!!?? (she was wailing at the top of her lungs and pushing through people to try and get to Joe, Kevin Sr. Was too scared and tired to do anything about it. Two security guards grabbed her and let her down gently into a chair.)
Security: Maam just calm down youll see your son in a moment. (He tried to calm her down)
Denise: DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!??!! HES DYING!!! (She just broke down and put her head in her hands and spoke quietly) H-hes dying.
Security: Dont worry maam Ill go get someone who can help you right now. (He rushed off)
—With Nemi—
(They had walked back in and witnessed Denises attempts at trying to get to Joe)
Demi: (looked over and saw that he was sleeping and without waking him slipped under his arms and went back outside for a walk. This whole time she tried to stay strong she tried not to let her emotions get to her, she was a rock, Nicks rock. Haha ;) She had to be strong for him, he was losing himself and she couldnt let that happen. Maybe some sleep would do him good and her mind wandered to Joe and right in the middle of the sidewalk she dropped to her knees and started balling she pounded the pavement in frustration and anger.) WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!!!??? (she yelled up to the sky as if hoping god would hear her she collapsed back onto the ground breathing heavily and heaved herself up.)

Joe is okay!!!! thank you lord!!! But how? You wanna find out? go watch eppy 34. Also, what will happen next? Will there crazy lives be normal or just get crazier?
